knit and felt

3 weeks to go and then we are on the plane again to return to NZ. The summer was not so good this year here in Germany, I couldn't do as much felting as I normally do. Bigger pieces like scarves I can do only outside, there is not enough space here in our granny flat. So I did more knitting this year, made lots of socks on a knitting machine and finally I tried out to felt knitted things. Actually I finished my first bag today, it is huge!!!! 

I followed a pattern and now I have to wash it in the washing machine, I wonder how it will turn out. I already started a second one and when that one is finished I will wash them together with some old towels.
